The Touch Details
The Touch is an initiative that intrinsically educates girls and boys about the difference between good touch and bad touch, while also training them to deal with harassment at a rudimentary level. We have now ventured into consent training and appropriate behavior education for boys as well. We also touch upon adolescent growth and period hygiene in some of our sessions.Our aim is to train the girls to be confident, independent, free-thinking and self-aware women who do not fear or get mowed down by the patriarchal biases and discrimination of the society. At Touch, we intend to make a difference by training girls to have a strong mind and a compassionate heart, not letting any negative experience deter them or make them question their self worth. We want to guide them into becoming brave women who are able enough to fight back and stand up for themselves. In a society where women are constantly put under restraints, we want to train the girls to break free from those chains and judgments with a determined mind and a daring heart.We are open to any sort of collaborative opportunities and chances of further exposure and community development.
