The Traditional Welsh Sausage Company (Edwards) is a specialist Welsh Butcher located in the historic town of Conwy, North Wales. Having won awards for Master Butchery, Sausage & Pie Making, the company is renowned for its quality and dedication to the Art of Butchery. The award-winning company also specialise in supplying major UK supermarkets, Export and Food-service.The company began when Ieuan Edwards, a farmer's son from the Conwy valley, served his apprenticeship in the market town of Llanrwst, before successfully completing courses in both Switzerland and Holland. He opened his butchers shop aged 20, and now employs over 60 staff who help to bring high quality convenience meat products to retailers across the UK.The range of award winning products (including sausages, burgers, bacon, gammon and meatballs) are made using traditional butchers shop recipes and methods, the aim is to provide the customer with the same high quality you would get if you visited their shop in person but with the convenience of being able to buy from your local supermarkets. The Traditional Welsh Sausage Company now supply this range to all major retailers from their production unit, just a few miles down the road from where it all began - their highly acclaimed traditional butchers shop on Conwy high-street. Edwards has won over 200 awards over the years, most notably "Welsh Butchers Shop of The Year 2016 – 17" by the Meat Trades Journal, "Champion for Welsh Butchers 2017" by the Countryside Alliance and 11 "Great Taste Awards" for their colourfully packaged convenience range. This successful formula is thanks to a combination of experienced artisan Welsh butchers, making locally produced food, always ensuring great quality, consistency & taste.
