The XANA Institute is a non-profit corporation with a three-fold mission: 1. To facilitate research into the capture, management, meaning and use of student achievement data in education. 2. To provide forums for discussion and knowledge sharing about student achievement data in education, and to provide continuing professional development to educators about its meaning and appropriate use. 3. To provide the technology and systems necessary for education agencies to unify their longitudinal student achievement data, regardless of source, and make that data accessible to educators for the enhancement of individual student instruction.
