The Zuri Initiative Details
The Zuri Initiative is a social impact start up located in Nairobi, Kenya. We operate from three main sites in Kibera, Lavington and Ngong Town. Our aim is to alleviate poverty by providing women with sustainable income generating opportunities, to educate and train them with necessary skills, to promote social welfare through social capital and to promote the conservation of our environment through innovative initiatives. We are currently implementing a project on women empowerment. The objective of this Initiative is twofold; on one hand we manufacture and retail nature derived hair care products and on the other hand we recruit and train women to become sales agents.
