Environmental Services - Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, United States
The Three Shores Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) is one of 22 CISMA's throughout the state of Michigan dedicated to stopping the spread of invasive species. Our CISMA spans across Chippewa, Luce, and Mackinac counties in the Eastern Upper Peninsula and consists of 42 partners from government agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, and universities. Our collaborative partnership organization is a completely grant funded organization that was formed in 2010 through the signing of the first Memorandum of Understanding between the Chippewa Luce Mackinac Conservation District and the Hiawatha National Forest.
