The Todd Wagner Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children and building strong communities through education, technology, healthcare and enrichment opportunities. In its first few years, the Foundation created signature programs like MIRACLES ® and the Minority Technology Fund to address the digital divide in America's inner cities. In addition, the Foundation nurtured fledgling organizations like the Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) and After-School All-Stars (ASAS), which were pioneering innovative new approaches to education and child welfare.As the Foundation gained experience and insight, it looked for opportunities to scale proven programs in order to reach even more children, through partnerships with highly regarded not-for-profit organizations. These partnerships include the Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), which now offer the MIRACLES curriculum through their Club Tech program at clubs nationwide, and the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, which continues the important work of ASAS in Dallas.Today, the Todd Wagner Foundation maintains its commitment to not-for-profits like KIPP, BGCA and ASAS while providing significant grants to a variety of cutting-edge programs and community enrichment organizations.
