TOMALIA S.C.U.G.

Tomalia is a second degree cooperative, producer of tomato paste and other tomato products and located in Santa Amalia (Spain). It gathers five cooperatives that supply all the raw material to the factory. We normally produce around 230.000mt of fresh tomatoes, which is (in a normal tomato crop) around the 10% of the whole Spanish tomato production. Equipment: - Two tomato paste lines- One tomato dice line.- Preconcentrator (apollo – Rossi Catelli)- Diced line (extruded one).- BIB line, from new season Products: Tomato paste: 28/30º brix tomato paste Cold Break, Hot Break, Warm Break and Superhot Break 36/38º brix tomato paste Cold Break 22/24º brix and 30/32º tomato paste Hot Break Crushed and passata, from 6/8º brix to 16/18º brix through a 1-4 mm sieve. Tomato dices from 8x8mm to 19x19mm with or without citric acid and Calcium Tomalia es una sociedad cooperativa de ulterior grado dedicada a la producción de concentrados de tomate, salsa pizzas y dados de tomate situada en Santa Amalia, Badajoz. Reune a 5 cooperativas que suministran toda la materia prima a la fábrica produciendo en un año normal 175.000 tm de tomates frescos, lo cual supone en torno a un 10% de la producción total española de tomates para industria.
