In June 2012, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing approved Toronto Community Housing's request to sell 65 stand-alone vacant properties starting in the spring 2013. Proceeds from the sale are expected to generate at least $24 million for the State of Good Repair Fund to fund repairs to their other homes. Fridman + Elkind will be orchestrating the sales of 46 of these properties which are expected to be profitable investments for buyers.
