Touchwood recognizes the challenges of conservation projects in the face in a modern, global economy. Hence we adhere to a two pronged approach - Ecological & Social. Ecological - We provide critical new initiatives in conservation and protection. Social - Touchwood has partnered with other NGO's and Government agencies and addresses and resolves social issues by introducing critical new initiatives in the areas of healthcare, education, economic development, environmental awareness and social welfare by partnering with other NGO's and Government agencies. We are currently working in the Tiger Reserves of South India and also with the people in the Mudumalai Relocation Project, an ambitious program to relocate the people from within the core Tiger Reserve areas to the periphery of the jungles..
