Green Mountain Falls is a quiet and peaceful mountain town with a year-round population of approximately 870. The number of people in Town increases in the summer as people from other places arrive to use their family cabins or enjoy a stay at a local Short Term Rental property. Our summer residents perpetuate a sense of tradition, and share our love of our community and its mountain living experience. Architecturally, Green Mountain Falls has an eclectic mix of rustic log cabins, Victorian homes, and more modern homes. Our Historic character is reflected in the preservation of town structures including the original land office building, hotels, and the Church in the Wildwood. The town's focal point is an 1890 Victorian Gazebo which can be rented for weddings and other events. The town's location supports a unique life style in providing a beautiful natural setting for a mountain home, plus employment opportunities, services, and city culture found in the nearby cities of Woodland Park and Colorado Springs.
