The Totally & Permanently Incapacitated Ex-Servicemen & Women's Association of Victoria Incorporated. The Totally & Permanently Incapacitated Ex-Servicemen and Women's Association of Victoria Incorporated (TPI Victoria Inc.) was formed in 1926 following meetings by a small group of TPI's who came together to try to ensure that all those who were eligible for the TPI Rating could actually achieve this. From the original establishment of the association back in 1926 to today, TPI Victoria Inc. is now a solid member based association that represents it members across a range of fronts. Today, TPI Victoria Inc. continues its core work to ensure that its member's voices are heard, their rights and entitlements are maintained and not eroded and its members, their families and their dependent's welfare is at the foremost front of mind. TPI Victoria Inc. has an active membership base of approximately 4,000 across the state and through these members has seen the establishment of many TPI Social Clubs across the Melbourne Metropolitan Region and Regional Victoria. These TPI Social Clubs meet on a monthly basis and provide and encourage social activities for members and widows and bring together these members for social events and functions, information sharing and community support. TPI Victoria Inc. is an active participant and stakeholder at both Commonwealth and State levels and works closely with the Department of Veteran's Affairs. The association is a member of the Australian Federation of Totally & Permanently Incapacitated Ex-Servicemen and Women Ltd and works closely with other states and territory associations to achieve its objectives. It is imperative for TPI Victoria Inc. to continue the support and assistance to its members; both current and future ensuring the Veteran Community is supported in the manner in which it deserves.
