Over the past 10+ years of extensive experience in implementing humanitarian and development based projects, TCO have successfully managed projects related to natural resource management, livelihoods and food security, which have been supported by international donors including USAID, UNDP, EU/IFAD, AFD, WorldFish, ESB, EFF, and Starving No More. Our mission is to contribute to the alleviation of poverty in target areas of Cambodia and improve the overall quality of life of Cambodian villagers and their families. We primarily focus on 5 objectives:1. Improve livelihoods and food security for target beneficiaries.2. Enhance sustainable natural resource management.3. Improve community access to WASH services.4. Enhance education for target beneficiaries.5. Secure funding for the organization in order to be able to implement future needs.TCO provides customized solutions on the following issues:• Capacity improvement for local and relevant authorities - To improve the ability to identify problems, find the root causes of those problems, find who the relevant stakeholders are and the best way to solve the problems utilizing existing resources.• Improve the rice field fishery system - To increase fish productivity and biomass.• Promotes commercial fish farm activity integrate to family exploitation in order to produce a fish clearly intended to generate cash income.• Strengthening community regulations and by-law - Many Communities Refuge Ponds (CFR) and Community Fisheries (Cfi) are formed with a functioning structure. • Increase knowledge, awareness and training of government and NGO partners in integrated aquaculture and agriculture-nutrition linkages approach.• Improve knowledge and awareness for women with young children – With the focus on importance of fish and dietary diversity, appropriate food preparation, hygiene and sanitation.• Improve gender equity and women's empowerment.• Strong regional and national partnerships and collaboration.
