Who the #@& is Trez Maschine? Trez Maschine is a Punkadelic Power-Trio from Northern California that plays hard, fast and accurate music pounded out like a well-oiled machine. The band's sound is most often compared to Primus, Queens of the Stone Age, and Radiohead. Fronted by Guitarist/Vocalist Gorden Mack and Bassist/Vocalist Brian Kenney with Kyle Malone on Drums. Their music transcends common genres, leaving them hard to categorize but never boring. Even if you don't like them, you have to respect them. Veteran guitarist / vocalist Gorden Mack, first gained fame on 4AD records with the Red House Painters, releasing 5 albums and touring across Europe and the USA with their songs featured in such films as Vanilla Sky, "Excess Baggage" and The Girl Next Door. That band is often considered one of the most influential alt rock bands of all time. Gorden's playing style crosses from finger-picking beauty to screaming distortions with wild melodies and blazing guitar solos, all in a style uniquely his own. Brian Kenney is an aggressive bassist that mixes tapping, flamenco-like strumming, and slapping with a dizzying array of tones, from clean through deep distortions, delays and modulators, building a wall of sound that punches you in the gut. Brian and Kyle Malone made their mark on the Bay Area Punk scene, sharing stages with the likes Skanking Pickle, NOFX and Suicidal Tendencies. Brian playing with Backward Mask, Adverse Side-FX and Degenerate Elite while Kyle branched off into psychobilly with Ghost Town Hangmen and the hard rock band Five Against One. Trez Maschine has been playing together for the last 3 years, pounding out new songs and breathtaking live performances. The band has demos out now while they seek their ideal producer for their first album. Playing all over the Bay Area, they are earning recognition as . . . One of the best bands in NorCal that you must see live,
