The Tufts Center for Global Public Health is strategically invested in the current and future global health issues. As the world population undergoes demographic, social economic and epidemiological transitions, our research is evolving to stay ahead of the curve. These transitions are in a place where both the current (stunting, infectious diseases, poor water) and the future (obesity, hypertension, aging population, malnutrition in the elderly) co-exist.MissionThe Tufts Center for Global Public Health is dedicated to addressing global health issues through research and subsequent translation to implementation and practice. The center is dedicated to an agenda in infectious diseases as well as non-communicable diseases and maternal and child health research. The center faculty has extensive experience in conducting research and capacity building resource constrained settings knowing well that in order to contribute to sustainable improvements in health outcomes, understanding and overcoming the barriers in health information, knowledge and literacy represent essential steps in these settings.Partners and CollaboratorsThe Center of Global Public Health has formal agreements with numerous partners including World Vision and Christian Medical Center.
