Tutor on Time was founded in 2020 by four UNB Engineering students, with the sole purpose of helping students prepare for their classes effectively. We provide students with affordable and accessible tutoring services, delivered by senior students who excelled in the courses. Tutor on Time was created in the setting of the current global pandemic, where students have to rapidly adjust to online learning. Although this alternative delivery method has some proven benefits, it comes with significant problems, such as student engagement, faculty readiness, or lack of interaction, just to name a few. Experiencing the impact of Covid-19 first hand, the co-founders of the company were determined to create a platform where students can find affordable tutors, group study, and review sessions.
