UCLA Medical Imaging Informatics (MII) in an interdisciplinary research group, with active programs in biomedical and imaging informatics. Our research has a longstanding history of support through the National Institutes of Health and other government agencies, such as the National Science Foundation. MII is also home to two NIH-funded graduate T32 training programs in informatics and big data science. Our research and training are motivated by the idea of fostering an interdisciplinary environment for the next generation of imaging informaticians to learn to invent and develop the computational approaches and tools that deliver on the promise of imaging and precision medicine.
