Media Production - Boulder, Colorado, United States
The United World Challenge is a collaborative nonprofit project to show that with the right attitude and preparation, anything is possible. Terence Steinberg will row 2,500 miles solo and self-supported, cross the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to see what plastic does to our oceans, and share the story with the world. During the journey our team will produce a weekly podcast, share photos and videos on social media, and create a live multimedia interactive map. (For a sense of our vision, look up "Out of Eden StoryMap.") And after the row is over, we're hatching plans for a documentary film, book and more. Why all the media? Because we believe the world needs inspiration: Inspiration to protect our dwindling natural resources and solve our plastic crisis. Inspiration to believe in dreams and the chance for a better tomorrow. Inspiration to unite the world. The row will begin as soon as April 2020, but the mission is already underway, and we have room for a few more partners. Do you want to join the crew? Learn more at unitedworldchallenge.org.
