The University of Bristol Snowsports Club is the home of student snowsports.We are the largest competitive University sports club in the UK and the team behind the biggest single University ski trip in the world, with over 2000 students joining us in Alpe D'Huez in 2018.Our trip has achieved legendary status since the humble beginnings of 350 students in 2011. It is now renowned for innovation in music, production, logistics and environmental initiatives. We consistently build on our reputation for delivering a world-class snowsports event in partnership with Wasteland Ski. We are proud to be one of the highest performing snowsports clubs in the UK thanks to the complete training programmes we offer our members. Our winter training trip is dedicated to developing skills in the Alps, alongside our weekly dryslope and snowdome sessions. We also offer strength and conditioning, yoga, gymnastics, sports psychology and nutrition sessions.Our ever improving results in national BUCS (British Universities and College Sport) competitions demonstrate our ability to unlock the potential of our athletes, while our record beginner-level participation proves our capacity to accommodate skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.We have partnered with many businesses and charities who share our vision of creating a world-class hub for student snowsports, including Oakley, Trespass, Ecotricity, Ellis Brigham, Faction, SnowCamp and Disability Snowsports UK.UBSC is managed by an elected committee of 12 full-time University of Bristol students.Member of the University of Bristol Students' Union, registered charity no. 1139656.
