Competence Center Smarter Work Within the ERCIS network, the Center, provides research and transformation support in the area of Unified Communication / Collaboration (UCC) and Social Media. The integration of the underlying technologies and concepts into the workplace leads to the picture of a smart organization. UCC as well as social media provides new ways of interaction among stakeholder. Customer relations as well as partner communities can actively be transformed and managed by the introduction of UCC and Social Media. The following aspects of CSR are linked to the activities of the Center: - Employees‘ Mobility - Diversity Management - Work-life Balance - CSR Supply Chain Management (Transparency) The foundation of the Center has been motivated by the recent development of UCC and Social Media. Both have become widely used approaches for management of private life while benefits and values for business are stillunder-researched. Furthermore, the convergence of both concepts increases the level of complexity regarding the introduction and use in a corporate environment.
