"UroScience" Science beyond borders Our simbol refers to the 🦋"butterfly effect" of discovery 💡 …A butterfly is formed by the composition of 2 Kidneys - filters of our bodies' master fluid, the blood🩸…It refers to the minimalist creativity … and the simplicity needed to understand the complex…The colors confront the darkness and the gray area of doubt ..… lluminated by science represented by the different shades of red (blood and ❤️) and orange … … referring to the knowledge and understandings that sometimes are incomplete … but which distance us from the darkness and the dangerous gray zone of uncertainties …"The word "UroScience" was coined by our clinical team and lab in 2011 to express our passion and mission to dedicate our energy, motivation and enthusiasm to the field of Urology as Science "... a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe" … meaning evidence based Urology.We are glad to have influences of many pioneer peers around the world including institutions like Columbia University NYC, Johns Hopkins University Baltimore, Harvard Boston, American Urological Association- AUA, SIU, World Urologic Oncology Federation (WUOF). We think Urology as an Ecosystem from nano, macro to populations interactions.
