Venturer Photography is a social enterprise with all profits raised going to the charity the River Thames Boat Project.Co- founders Louise Sibley & Paul Boyd envisaged that funds could be earned for a charity using its own resources and volunteers. The first stage was to run photography training using the experience of Professional Photographer and fellow volunteer John Frye. The ethos of VP is to deliver remarkable value for money to its customers, maintain the highest professional standards, whilst earning valuable income for the charity and not impacting on its mainstream activity. The River Thames Boat Project owns and runs a 26 metre 102 year old Dutch Barge especially fitted out for access. In 2010 a program of evening cruises were added and plans for 2011 include expansion to offer evening wildlife cruises.
