Villa Chardonnay, Horses with Wings, is a sanctuary dedicated to the compassionate care of animals, primarily horses. We provide love, a home and critical care for abused, neglected, slaughter bound and abandoned creatures.In total the sanctuary is home to over 200 animals, all once homeless, including horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats and turkeys. We are expanding to continue our services for the entire West Coast.Villa Chardonnay is privately funded through the generosity of individuals like you and grants from organizations dedicated to the well-being of animals, including ASPCA, Hurlburt-Johnson Charitable Trusts, Geraldine Strunsky and private funding such as that of animal enthusiast Sam Deluca. Senator Jeff Stone has also just endorsed Villa Chardonnay and is hosting an important expansion fundraiser on May 28th! See our events page for more details.
