Vrihat Vistaar Foundation believes in the innate capability of the underprivileged classes of the society to make a difference to their own lives. With this vision in mind, VVF has designed a sustainable livelihoods framework that will serve as a guiding force for all of our programs/ projects. This approach identifies the main constraints and inbuilt opportunities that are part of the daily life of populace from the poor rural India. We aim to build our interventions on everyday realities and then support people from the disadvantaged communities address their constraints while taking advantage of available Opportunities. Vrihat Vistaar is a group of dedicated development professionals with decades of experience in working closely with the community. The members have designed and implemented projects to empower community to access primary and complementary services by furthering a knowledge-based rights approach.Together we aim to demonstrate innovative ways to define and implement a global agenda encompassing the following: Community mobilization and Empowerment Capacity Building Livelihood Promotion, including vocational training programs and promotion of micro enterprise Family Life Education Program Environmental sustainability Community-based health programs
