| Washington Kids in Transition (WAKIT) provides basic needs and resources (e.g., emergency food, hygiene kits, rental and utility assistance, emergency closets, and more) for children and their families who are facing financial hardships and are experiencing homelessness. | We are a full-service distribution and family resource center and are currently serving students and families in the Edmonds School District and Everett School District, as well as to families referred to us by our community partners on a case by case basis.| By collaborating with community partners and working with licensed social workers and family resource advocates in our schools, we can provide fast assistance to our community's students and families.
