We are a Community Based Organization based in Lemek Conservancy in the Maasai Mara Ecosystem in Narok County.W4W is committed to water provision for wildlife during the dry seasons by the excavation of water pans to harvest water in the rainy seasons. Currently, we have four (4) water pans solely funded by W4W.Most of Kenya's game reserves and conservancies are located in semi-arid areas. Water is vital to the wildlife to thrive; apart from drinking, some of these animals use water for habitat and breeding. The lack of water in these game reserves and conservancies has been overlooked. As W4W, we have a mission to grow in the Maasai Mara Ecosystem and regionally to contribute to wildlife conservation through water provision. When we conserve the natural habitat of wildlife species, we enrich our planet. To do so, we must keep the animals in their natural environment. By excavating water pans in the conservancy, it helps wildlife stay within the protected areas. It is beneficial to humans since the human-animal conflict is hugely reduced. Through excavation of water pans in strategic places the animals can freely access water and keep them in their natural habitats. It enhances the visibility of all animals by tourists without roaming around in protected areas and disturbing the ecosystem.W4W is looking for partners and donors, to source funds that are crucial to protect the wildlife and their natural habitat. Please visit our website https://www.water4wildlife.org/
