A forum for women that offers a 'Break Free' 48 hours to bring together diverse view-points, concerns, challenges, and a celebration of all that women have achieved.We will build an annual space that - in a world of continued 'mansplaining' - will give women a space for unfettered expression, great conversation, forging bonds, mentoring and networking and ultimately a wide community of friends.Our aim was to break down as many barriers as possible in order to create an absolutely equal and liberating space for conversation and camaraderie. We brought together politicians, sports stars, actors, activists, soldiers, sex workers, sanitation workers-men and women both- under one roof. An open mic, a flea market, food and arts were accompanying attractions to encourage people to also have a good time.
