The Western Women's Business Center (WWBC) is a program of Carolina Small Business Development Fund, a nonprofit CDFI with a mission to foster economic development in the state of North Carolina. The WWBC meets the needs of women entrepreneurs through one-on-one counseling, workshops and training classes, networking, mentoring, and stop-in technical assistance. Business owners are offered training on a range of topics including marketing, financial management, business planning, industry-specific topics, and more.In addition, the WWBC connects entrepreneurs in the western region of North Carolina with Carolina Small Business' loan program. The WWBC staff works with business owners to prepare them for applying for a loan, allowing Carolina Small Business to extend our loan capital into the western region and to women small business owners. Loan capital is available for both start-ups and existing businesses.
