Delhi Innovation Council's endeavours are directed toward upholding women's interest in policymaking and ensuring that our voices influence decision-making at all levels. The council endeavours further help improve women's access to expertise, finance, mentorship, training, global networks, B2B collaborations, toward expanding and empowering women's businesses and trade. The council develops frameworks and strategies for sector-specific/region-specific outreach, advocacy and endeavours. The council plans an annual program of activities, meetings, visits, representations, recommendations, MOUs with Ministries, and other organisations for joint efforts and a multi-pronged approach for change at various levels. The councils coordinate with respective government bodies, institutions and the media, toward framing and enabling policy changes, seeking concessions and incentives, and other required structural changes toward enhancing economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs. The councils provide suitable representation and recommendations to the governments and relevant institutions. The councils plan delegations and visits to various public platforms, industry forums and other chambers to promote trade, commerce and investment for women entrepreneurs and business women and those in services and trade. The council articulates the voices and aspirations of millions of women, ensuring that they receive the support and special actions that will encourage and promote their economic participation and wellbeing in the greater cultural, societal, economic and educational context. The councils seeks funding from government and corporate sources for council functioning & various projects especially in education, mentoring, skill development among others toward promoting women innovative enterprises. The council maintains energetic internal functioning for active participation of all council members toward driving concrete outcomes.
