It was a hot and humid 2006 summer. I can still vividly remember the hum and hiss of the AC unit in the room where I got accepted for a temp job with Accenture. I was referred by an Accenture internal employee. So imagine my frustration when I learned that I had to pay off an Agency just to get onboarded. With this experience and working with contingent programs, enterprise, and procurement managers, it was obvious that the industry was missing out on a huge opportunity to optimize.
