Caroline "Liner" Lee was on Wipeout. Then got cancer. Thus, the name, Wipeout Cancer.Wipeout Cancer is an initiative to increase cancer awareness and give back to the cancer community. Our goal in 2013 was to raise $50,000 in 5 years. Why $50,000? That's how much Liner won on Wipeout. Why 5 years? This is the standard time measure of cancer survival rates.Our first event Sports Day for Charity, held in July 2013, surpassed our 1st year fund-raising goal. Since then we have held the event annually and will be hosting our first Sports Day for Kids event this year. This day provides kids living with cancer an opportunity to be active in a fun and safe environment.
