As a dynamic organization focused on evolving to the needs of the economics community, we prepare our female members to hold successful positions in economics. By engaging with professionals in the field, discussing important economics topics, and participating in workshops and conferences, our members grow as students and thinkers.Active membership requires consistent attendance of meetings, workshops, and networking events, and we pride ourselves on the qualifications and economic excellence of our active members. These students excel in leadership, advocacy, and knowledge and go on to become unique assets to professional economics teams.Our initiatives also include a High School Outreach Program, which brings college economics students into targeted high school classrooms to educate students about the possibilities and opportunities presented by the field of economics. The curriculum focuses on encouraging diversity, representation, and visibility of economics as a major.
