Women Run America was founded not exclusively for athletic women who run, but to embrace and serve all individuals who support athleticism, diversity and leadership. However, through the act of running, we will demonstrate the strength and will that women possess to lead in our cities, states, and country. Through community, we will empower women to chase these leadership positions and persevere when met with adversity.Women Run America begins with the goal of providing geographic, meaningful, and fun platforms for running events. With each event our overall goal is to sponsor and financially assist other organizations that have specific needs. Whether those organizations are a women's homeless shelter in Minneapolis or an organization sponsoring an international run to fight world hunger, WRA will be at the forefront; we will be the facilitator of events that will champion causes that truly benefit our target audiences.
