Based in London, The World Ballet, is one of Britain's most inspiring contemporary ballet companies. Our mission is to use ballet and dance to make the World come closer together.We believe that ballet belongs to the whole World, and not just to closed restricted circles. We aim to bring ballet closer to the general public and encourage people of any age, race, location or physical condition to envisage themselves as dancers.Our core values reflect what is truly important to us, defining of our company culture:- INNOVATE - The Company has a wide-ranging repertory showcasing new contemporary ballets, the new works by new creative choreographers of today, are often presented in new alternative formats to bring the classical art form of ballet closer to every audience.- EDUCATE - Access is a key issue for the Company and its work is seen not just at the stage but via internet and cinematic performances, international touring and through the educational work of the Company's Institute of Movement aiming to create a free open knowledge data base to support anyone interested in learning ballet.- COLLABORATE - The World Ballet supports human, social and cultural development of different communities.
