The World Youth Foundation is an international NGO, with the goal of promoting research, development and documentation of youth programmes worldwide. Our priority is to create opportunities for youths to get involved and grow, regardless of where they are in the world. Our activities include engagement in dialogues, conferences, training, seminars, exchange programmes, consultative and knowledge based research.Part of our mission is to create spaces and platforms for the interchange of ideas among youth organisations, both locally and internationally. We focus on promoting and strengthening peace, progress and prosperity among young people throughout the world; as well as supporting research and documentation in the area of youth development and related challenges.Among the issues we have worked on more recently are: peace, gender equality, child marriage, sustainable development and climate change. Each activity we work on is directly connected to our compromise in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).The World Youth Foundation is based in Malacca, Malaysia. As an International NGO, it is in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, and associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information.
