Worldbike is a nonprofit organization that develops and delivers low-cost cargo bikes to the rural poor in East Africa. In developing countries, bicycles can transform lives by providing access to markets, healthcare and education. For over a decade, Worldbike has used bicycles to power economic prosperity in developing regions. The organization has worked in South Africa, Nicaragua, Cuba and Senegal and is currently working in partnership with UN Habitat using bicycles to create local jobs and haul trash in Kibera and Naivasha, Kenya's largest slums.
