National Skill Competitions in IRAN :With regard to the effect of professional skills competition in boosting the level of skills of young technicians and practitioners in the member states of Worldskills International, in 1971 Iran held Worldskills national in 12 categories with the participation of 500 participants and the competitions were held annually up to 1975.After Iranian revolution the Worldskills National was recommenced in 2000 and thereafter the competitions have been administered at city, provincial and national levels. The top participants participate in preparation camps and sent to Worldskills International.
