I'm an author of an acclaimed book for writers: Toxic Feedback: Helping Writers Survive and Thrive. ('I can't imagine a better guide to [feedback's] rewards and perils than this fine book.' - American Book Review). As a long-time instructor at my own writing center (www.thewriterscenterwrj.com) I have taught hundreds of workshops, and give talks at writing conferences around the country. I also offer talks related to my 'This Day' book series, including the latest title, 'Water Cooler Diaries: Women across America Share Their Day at Work.' My latest book is a collection of humor essays, coming out this fall. It's called 'Another Heartwarming and Hilarious Bad-Dog Story. I've been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for one of the essays in the book.
