Inspired by the legacy of Malcolm X, our team set out with a mission to address the lack of available books in Georgia prisons and jails. There are several facilities who average less than 3 books per person. But in the year since our founding, we're changing that. What we've learned along the way is that, for many, books represent the only connection to the outside world and are vital for both education and entertainment. Restoring access to books not only helps people presently incarcerated, but improves their lives upon release as well. We're making a difference, one book at a time thanks to the help of our partners and generous supporters. We believe that everyone deserves access to books.
