Yeh Ek Soch Foundation (YES) is an registered non-government and non-profit civil society organization based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The main objective of the organization is to empower, educate and secure the future of India's adolescents, capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized people of the society. YES Foundation is working with 14 communities in Lucknow and has it's presence in ~90 blocks in 22 districts of Uttar Pradesh.Vision: "To empower young people where they skilled, feel secure and live dignified life."Mission: "To create a road-map and build capacity for young people to ensure that they achieve their full potential and bring positive social change with in society." We connect: YES creates a platform for youth where they are able to polish their professional as well as life skills to be able to contribute to the society.We provide: Knowledge Hub of shared resources, tools, and opportunities.We showcase: We weave innovative ideas into social contexts and hope to strengthen the youth for collective action.Area of Intervention:YES Foundation is addressing issues like Comprehensive Sexual Education, Life Skill education, Gender & SRHR, ECM, WASH and promoting SDGs. We have been running several long term (5-6 years long) and short-term (3 month to 2 years). Yeh Ek Soch Foundation has been engaged in various awareness and counselling programs centered towards community development. We formed youth groups and they also engaged in events/dialogue with stakeholders (Parents, Teachers, Gram Pradhan, NPRC, BEO, District coordinator-Girls Education & other related stakeholders).Outreach:YES has reached out to ~5, 00,000 Children-youth and their community through programs.
