Yorkshire Dales Distillery was established in 2016 by Tony Brotherton, a retired Army officer, and his wife Sarah, to handcraft exceptional spirits in the heart of Richmondshire, North Yorkshire. Using a unique water from Swaledale together with a blend of passion, attention to detail and traditional techniques we create, develop, distil and bottle a range of notably smooth gins, vodkas and rums. Our spirits are prepared in very small batches and are flavoured through vapour infusion.We distil a range of premium craft spirits; Purple Ram London Dry Gin (classic, fragrant, 40% abv), Wild Ram Yorkshire Berry London Dry Gin (local berries, red fruit notes, 45% abv), Desert Ram Army Strength London Dry Gin (flavours of North Africa and the Middle East, 50% abv), Smokey Ram Yorkshire Vodka (subtly infused through hay smoked black peppercorns, 40% abv) and Intrepid Ram Golden Yorkshire Rum (infused with honey and heather, oak aged at the Distillery, 45% abv). We also create, develop and distil a number of exclusive spirits, under contract, for a variety of clients both large and small.Yorkshire Dales Distillery prioritises the employment and training of young people, Veterans, ex-offenders and the long-term unemployed. It is a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant.The Distillery supplies direct and through wholesale to the on and off-trade throughout the UK and overseas.
