People who do, change the world. Everyone else is just living here.We are a group of advertising creatives that aim to inspire across disciplines. We live in the real world and aim to influence beyond our online presence. There are currently 15 YCC Monkeys and we run the group in our spare time – new ideas are always welcome.Our aim is to help motivate, educate and support those wishing to make a go of it in the creative industry. We run workshops, talks, portfolio nights, classes, socials and our own projects.The Young Creative Council started in 2007, with a bunch of creatives sending links to each other through a Facebook group. When admin of the page was handed over to a new generation of youngsters (us), the purpose of the group was transformed.What's broken can be fixed. The current education system is losing touch with the creative industry (and vice versa), leading to a serious lack of equality. Now we're using our collective experience of breaking into the industry, to tear it down and rebuild it in a more accessible form.
