Young Performers International Details
Young Performers International is a non-profit children's performing arts company with branches in San Francisco, Alameda, and Marin counties. YPI provides after-school music education programs including jazz/rock band, chorus, percussion ensemble, and individual instruction, and summer music camps specializing in rock, jazz, pop and world music. One quarter of our students attend on scholarship, provided by YPI. Jazz/Rock Bands and Performing Chorus. Rehearsals are held all around the Bay Area, with monthly performances in prestigious venues such as the Great American Blues Festival in San Rafael, Yoshi's Jazz Club in Oakland and the half time show for the San Francisco Forty-Niners in Monster Park.
