Young Stars Football First is a football scheme in Chadwell Heath, London, which offers great opportunities to all children within the community aged between 5 - 15 to participate in football every saturday morning and on wednesday occasionally regardless of ability, gender or race. The organisation was founded to create more opportunities in the community; to increase participation in football and sport in this local community area for the children, coaches and volunteers. Young Stars fIrst day of training was the 10th of August 2013, and every Saturday, few Wednesdays and Sundays since then. We have been able to register a number of children to our football scheme. We are registered to the East London & Essex League for the 2014/2015 which commenced on the 28th of September 2014. We have four teams (U14's,U11's, U9's & U7's) registered for this season and looking to add one or two new teams next season. We are affiliated to the Essex County FA (AFF NO: M-ESS1645) . Our home ground is at Warren school Sport centre in Chadwell Heath London. Our aim is to get more children in the area participating in sport, through providing affordable training with a variety of activities within a fun and safe environment for the children to learn and progress. We also hope to use this scheme to advice young adults aged 16 and above to volunteer in organising the activities with a view of gaining a coaching Certificate. We have managed to organise training for the children every Saturday since opening and played in the league for the first time last year.
