At ZAFÈ, we believe that commerce from the South to the North is more efficient than international aid at providing long term alleviation to poverty and other issue faced by individuals from the South. We want be an innovative, disrupting definition of contributing to 3rd world development. And to act toward our belief, we started by choosing a specific commercial sector that: • has the capacity to share the best value from people from the South to people from the North, • offers long term growth opportunities without massive investment either in infrastructure or other and • is fully compatible with philanthropic/humanist value of people from the North We named the handmade sector.
