Zero Hour London is the UK's intersectional youth-led annual march against the global climate chaos, placing particular emphasis on UK policy lobbying. We are all privileged to live on this beautiful planet called Earth, however everything that the current generation takes for granted is under threat. That's why environmental youth activists all around the world are taking a stand & marching for climate action & environmental justice in a newly-founded movement called "This Is Zero Hour".This movement was the brainchild of founder, 16-year-old Jamie Margolin, back in 2017, a fierce climate justice advocate, who has been working tirelessly for the last few years to move her home state of Washington to adopt common sense climate change laws.London's "This Is Zero Hour" sister March is led by the UK Youth Climate Coalition alongside other youth environmental activists, with the aim to spread a message throughout the UK that this is Zero Hour to stop climate breakdown & other environmental issues that threaten our planet and future.Zero Hour aims to be the largest youth-led climate mobilisation in history.Enough is enough. We have the knowledge, so do those in power. We know that climate breakdown is affecting global weather systems, melting ice caps, causing sea level rise and increasing droughts, famine and floods. We, the younger generation, didn't do this, but we are going to be the first generation that truly experiences the impacts of man-made climate breakdown. We are also the last one that can fix them. Now is the time to act.The London march is organised entirely by teenagers & young adults who are giving up their time to make it as big a success as possible. On July 21st 2018, we marched for our planet and our future, and we hope you can support us and future movements too.The time is now. This is Zero Hour.
