ZEST srl is a start-up company with a strong commitment on blue economy, sustainability, social development, ecology and environment. We think of ourselves as an eco-friendly lab, a community for green living ideas. What really matters for us is to improve quality of life on a glocal scale. The idea of ZEST as a laboratory for eco-friendly ideas started in September 2011, after it received an honourable mention for best business idea from Assolombarda as part of the 2011 competition entitled Dall'Idea all'Impresa (From an Idea to Business). Our projects pertain to: > Environment, health and well-being > Energy efficiency > Sustainable use of natural resources > Ecology and diversity Major Achievements > In March 2012, ZEST wins the regional selection of the award Il Talento delle Idee by Confindustria and Unicredit > In May 2012, ZEST receives an honourable mention by Corriere della Sera and Nordesteuropa at Premio Città Impresa, an award to honour those companies, institutions and NPOs based in North-East Italy that promote innovative ideas and contribute to the development and relaunch of the country Moreover, ZEST adheres to the Charter for Sustainability, a manifesto by Confindustria that promotes the shared values and actions needed for a gradual progress toward greater environmental sustainability, outlining realistic and achievable goals for Italian companies.
