ZLÍN FILM FESTIVAL

Mezinárodní festival filmů pro děti a mládež ve Zlíně je nejstarší, největší a nejvýznamnější filmovou přehlídkou svého druhu na světě. Jedná se o mezinárodní událost s vynikajícím renomé. Festivalové projekce se uskutečňují nejen ve Zlíně, ale také v řadě dalších měst České republiky. Každoročně festival uvádí přes 350 snímků z více než 50 zemí světa a navštíví jej přes 100.000 návštěvníků. Zlín Film Festival, International Film Festival for Children and Youth is a film festival for young audiences, and is one of the oldest festivals of its kind in the world. This is a significant international event which has an excellent reputation and holds lots of respect. The festival screenings are conducted not only in Zlin, but also in many other towns in the Czech Republic. Each year the festival presents around 350 films from more than 50 countries around the world.The festival is a member of the CIFEJ and ECFA professional organizations. PROGRAMMEThe competitive sections of the festival are particularly rich in new films shot within the last two years. They are complemented by either quality films from other festivals or classic works of world cinema. Apart from the five competitive sections, the festival offers a whole range of informative and retrospective sections, including that of documentary full-length films.
