Having worked in the textile industry for over a decade, Neelam had a dream to create a high-quality garment that is sustainable, classic and thoughtful.The idea was to create regular wear which does not harm the environment.After making a lot of calls, writing emails and meeting "N" number of people we finally got onboard a panel of 27 women and men who were determined to make this idea into a reality.We researched and we researched and we researched for almost a year, and at last, we cracked it! We were clear that we are going to create the garment out of 100% organic fiber, this will not only be a step toward the betterment of the planet as a whole but will also give a boost to Indian textile farming, which is on the verge of dying out.So, we created a simple and thoughtful garment. MATATA tees are made out of 100% organic fiber which means if you put it back to the soil within 100-120 days the entire tee will get integrated with the soil.
