The factory was born as Mercadona's exclusive supplier in 2006 by Grupo Siro and acquired in 2016 by Joan Cubarsí with the mission of adding artisan value to products, increasing quality, and implementing productivity improvements. Soon the efforts showed effect, turnover was doubled in 2018 compared to the acquisition in 2016.In 2020 the brand Pastisfred starts an opening process to new international markets, with the competitive advantage of the experience given by working for years for the largest retail chain in Spain, Mercadona.It is a continuous development process to adapt our production to more advanced technologies where handwork does not add value to the product, but with the premise of remaining the artisan process, which defines a clear differentiation element.As a result, we can offer a global pastry solution for your frozen and chill supermaket shelves and for your Food-Service requirements, following the latest trends and responding to any specific consumer need.
