The tenants had their rights vindicated, achieving excellent results after trial - over $538,000 in damages and $1,052,400 in attorney fees. Greenstein and McDonald settled Davis v. Busk in Hayward, CA in May 2004 for $3,825,000 on behalf of more than 100 tenants, one of the largest settlements for tenants in Bay Area history. This was a case which was heavily contested by the Defendant for more than 3 years.
